Induction strengthens AFCOM’s domestic and international operations from its Chennai hub.

AFCOM, an integrated air cargo solutions company operating across domestic and international routes, has inducted its third aircraft, strengthening operational capacity and marking a key milestone in its fleet expansion.
The aircraft arrived at Chennai International Airport on December 30, 2025 and was accorded a water cannon salute. The induction is expected to support AFCOM’s expanding domestic and international operations and enhance its ability to serve key trade routes.
Chennai continues to serve as a strategic operational hub for the company. The additional aircraft is expected to help AFCOM meet rising demand for air cargo services, including time-sensitive and specialised cargo across multiple sectors.
The company said the latest induction aligns with its long-term strategy to scale operations in line with market demand while maintaining operational efficiency and service reliability. AFCOM remains focused on network expansion, customer diversification and disciplined deployment of capacity.
The company also said it is optimistic about growth opportunities driven by increasing cross-border trade, evolving supply chains and sustained demand for reliable air cargo solutions.
Commenting on the development, Deepak Parasuraman, Chairman and Managing Director of AFCOM, said the third aircraft strengthens the company’s operating platform and improves its ability to serve customers across expanding trade lanes, while continuing to focus on disciplined growth and building a scalable cargo network.
