AAI, IATA launches comprehensive e-billing solution ‘SKYREV360’

Feb 22, 2017: Airports Authority of India (AAI) is venturing into unexplored business territories with an aim to generate more and better business opportunities and to maximise and enhance non-aeronautical revenues. In one of its innovative business opportunities AAI in collaboration with IATA came out with a unique comprehensive e-billing solution comprising of data gathering, invoicing and collection called ‘SKYREV360’. This unique system is one of its kind and would help air navigation service provider’s (ANSP) and airport operators worldwide in avoiding revenue leakages, reducing redundancies, reduction in disputes, easy integration with all external systems and also help in curtailing the debt collection period to the minimum. The system is compatible to any of the radar systems in the world and can be hosted on cloud servers too.
AAI is looking beyond national boundaries and interests and is undertaking newer business initiatives by exploring global aviation markets for providing consultancy, construction, management services, export services and undertaking operations abroad in relation to airports, air-navigation services, ground aids and safety services beyond national borders.
The SKYREV360 was globally launched by P Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Minister of Civil Aviation in the presence of RN Choubey, Secretary Civil Aviation, Government of India; Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI; S Suresh, Member Finance, AAI and other senior officers and delegates from 19 countries. A three-day workshop was also organised for the visiting delegates from ANSP’s and airport operators from 19 countries in Goa.
Speaking on the occasion Raju lauded the efforts of AAI in bringing out the first ever end-to-end solution of e-billing for the aeronautical and airport charges which has been brought out by AAI in Make in India initiatives. Secretary Civil Aviation gave an insight to AAI’s cutting edge technologies like GAGAN, NOCAS and gave glimpses of the India’s new Civil Aviation policy and Regional Connectivity Scheme of Government of India. Mohapatra, IAS, Chairman AAI emphasized AAI’s aim to generate more and better business opportunities by exploring unexplored business territories.
