Jha who comes with two decades of experience in logistics industry, will lead the company’s operations in India and international markets from April 2.
Speaking on the appointment, Raaja Kanwar, chairman & managing director, Apollo LogiSolutions said, “As we move into the next phase of our growth journey, the appointment of Samarnath Jha as the new CEO is a step in that direction. Under the leadership of Samarnath, the group is embarking upon an exciting phase. Jha is a fellow & life member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, India. He is on the Advisory panel of Express, Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave, Asia Pacific and a Member of the Association of Multimodal Transporters of India. He is also the recipient of Professional CEO of the Year 2009 at Express Logistics & Supply Chain event held at APAC level.
In the past, he has held several distinguished leadership positions such as CEO India & board member, Asia Pacific at DHL Logistics; MD & executive board member, Asia Pacific at CEVA Logistics; and MD – South Asia, APL Logistics.
