Anuj Aggarwal appointed interim chairman of AAI
August 13, 2019: The government of India has issued an order giving the additional charge of interim chairman, Airport Authority of India (AAI) to Anuj Agarwal, member, (human resources).

August 13, 2019: The government of India has issued an order giving the additional charge of interim chairman, Airport Authority of India (AAI) to Anuj Agarwal, member, (human resources) at the organisation.
Aggarwal took over from Guruprasad Mohapatra who was appointed the first class secretary, department of industry and internal trade (now called department for promotion of industry and internal trade), in the ministry of commerce. Mohapatra took charge from August 1.
Aggarwal is an engineering graduate from BITS Pilani. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of airport engineering, operations management and development of select airports through PPP under direct supervision of ministry of civil aviation, government of India.
He has experience in management of HR functions at regions, airports and at corporate level and has successfully demonstrated his ability to handle large taskforce in a disciplined and organised manner.
Aggarwal employs IT tools such as E-office to bring transparency and efficiency into the systems.
