Agility Reports 19% Q2 Earnings Increase
June 22, 2016: Agility, a leading global logistics provider, won BMW’s prestigious Gold Award for excellence in warehousing and distribution for work at a showcase distribution center in Mumbai managed for the automaker by Agility since 2007.
The Mumbai regional distribution center (RDC) handles all BMW after-sale logistics in India, including inbound and outbound distribution moving by road and air.
The award, presented at the annual BMW Excellence in Parts Logistics Awards in Munich, Germany, marks the fourth time BMW has recognized Agility India in recent years. BMW presented Agility India with Gold and Silver awards in 2011, 2012 and 2014. YogendraBellani, Agility India's Vice President for Domestic Logistics, along with SubramanyamNanubala, Senior Manager - Parts Logistics, BMW Group India, received the award from Niklas Wagner, Senior Vice President, Aftersales Business Management BMW Group and Wolfgang Baumann, Director, Parts Logistics Management BMW Group.

BMW selected winners using an evaluation process based on stock accuracy; cost in percentage turnover; on-time performance; error rate; and dealer satisfaction. The RDC in Mumbai excelled in all areas to secure the top spot, despite fierce competition between 40 BMW RDCs worldwide.
