FFFAI’s 23rd Biennial Convention to be held in January 2017 in Kochi

Oct 19, 2016: The 23rd Biennial Convention of the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) has been scheduled to take place from January 19-21, 2017 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi. The theme of the Convention, as was in the previous Conventions, will be relevant to prevailing scenario of global business as well as logistics Industry. FFFAI will also organise the FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations) World Congress 2018 from September 24-29, 2018 in New Delhi.

At FFFAI Convention in Kochi there will be delegates from wide spectrum of logistics industry, across India. “According to the previous experiences, most of them would register as resident delegates with over 40 percent attending along with their families,” said Samir Shah, chairman, FFFAI. The last convention held in Mumbai in 2015 witnessed participation of more than 400 delegates. “The FFFAI Convention 2017 will also be attended by overseas delegates including a Malaysian delegation,” informed Shah.

The FFFAI Biennial Convention 2017 will have two full-day interactive business sessions on various topics pertaining to logistics industry and allied industry. “The speakers would be eminent leaders in their respective fields with rich experience and domain knowledge to represent a wide range of logistics industry and government departments,” underlined the FFFAI Chairman.

Like previous Conventions, FFFAI would organise a Mini Trade Fair on the sidelines of the Convention. This will offer an opportunity to shareholders to showcase their products and services to the delegate and dignitaries.
