Kale’s GALAXY disseminates AODB information to trade partners
GALAXY, Kale Logistics Solutions’ airport cargo management system used by airport terminal operators, ground handlers and custodians worldwide, will now disseminates AODB (Airport Operational Database) information to the stakeholders of the cargo being handled at the airports. The AODB is essentially the information pertaining to entire aircraft movement at the airports.
The ground handling agents and airline custodians have certain SLAs, as per which they need to upload and unload the cargo; segregate the cargo on time and meet customer expectations. Since all this processing is being done manually at most developing airports, any last minute flight change is not available to them resulting in chaos and delays. Custodians and airport cargo ground handlers require aircraft information which they currently receive from different flight information systems. However for actual usage most airport personnel end up creating records and reports manually. For instance, at present if there is a change in flight schedule, the airport personnel need to inform the concerned parties or trade partners manually.
