MSC launches standalone service connecting Asia and Southeast India

MSC announced the launch of its new weekly service, Osprey, between Asia and Southeast India.

The Osprey service will offer a direct route and improve transit times between the Asian and Southeast Indian markets, opening new opportunities for importers and exporters in the region and providing increased connectivity between these important trade hubs.

The rotation of the service is as follows: Shanghai – Ningbo – Singapore – Colombo – Ennore – Visakhapatnam – Shanghai

The first sailing will depart from Shanghai on July 23, 2024, with vessel MSC SOMYA voyage number SO430A.

Osprey complements the existing MSC inter-Asia service called Shikra which connects the main ports of India and China.
