Delhivery launches its mega logistics facility in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra.

Covering an area of 1.2 million square feet and featuring 196 docking points, this terminal can handle 8,000 tonnes of freight daily, with a daily passage of 1,600 vehicles.

Delhivery's Bhiwandi facility is capable of processing a notable 32,000 shipments and 17,000 goods units per hour. This represents a substantial advancement in operational efficiency.

Sahil Barua, the Managing Director & CEO of Delhivery, shared his perspective on the strategic significance of the expanded Bhiwandi gateway. "Our expanded Bhiwandi gateway will enable us to increase capacity for Mumbai and the West Zone’s large and SME freight shippers while maintaining world-class service reliability and efficiency.”

Delhivery's Bhiwandi hub is the company's second major facility, following the operational Tauru hub in Haryana since 2021. Additionally, a third facility in Bangalore is scheduled to commence operations in 2024.
