International crude oil price of Indian Basket lower by 31 cents

July 12, 2016: According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 42.98 per barrel (bbl) on 11.07.2016. This was lower than the price of US$ 43.29 per bbl on previous publishing day of 08.07.2016.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs. 2886.06 per bbl on 11.07.2016 as compared to Rs. 2920.05 per bbl on 08.07.2016. Rupee closed stronger at Rs. 67.14 per US$ on 11.07.2016 as against Rs.67.46 per US$ on 08.07.2016. The table below gives details in this regard:
